Monkeyclaus is very excited to facilitate the live recording of Jim Waive and his band at the Jefferson Theater from April 20, 2006. Singer-songwriter Jim Waive has currently assembled a very strong group to support his personal brand of country music . Waive has a commanding live presence and his fellow musicians foster a rich, full sound. Merrymaking and excitement surround The Young Divorcees. Waive is the lead singer and plays acoustic guitar. Jen Fleisher plays upright bass. Anna Matijasic plays violin. Charlie Bell plays dobro, pedal steel, and bottleneck guitar as well as handling vocals. All of The Young Divorcees are extremely talented musicians in their own right. With Jim Waive leading the charge down at the forgotten roadhouse, folks tend to grip their chilly beers a little tighter, smile much more often than usual, and walk past the secret, lucky horseshoe on their way home, making sure to touch it and make a wish.
