Beak – 'Iron Acton'

Explore Monkeyclaus

Check out this new seemingly controversial music from the band BEAK>. BEAK> were formed in January 2009 by three Bristol musicians, Billy Fuller, Matt Williams and Geoff Barrow (Geoff Barrow , who was/is a staple in the band Portishead, my favorite).

This is much more indy

rock sounding but still cool, will this type of music survive today ? If they are ever in the USA Monkeyclaus would love to host a Monkey Session with them.

The band have very strict guidelines governing the recording and writing process of their work. The music was recorded live in one room with no overdubs or repair, only using edits to create arrangements. All tracks were written over a twelve-day session in SOA Studios, Bristol. The album is to be released on the 19th of october 2009 on Invada Records Europe and ipecac in North America.

A limited edition box set version of the album will be available from September direct from the Invada website. Inside a specially designed black Beak> box will be a CD version of the album, a limited edition CD EP, 12" vinyl with 2 bonus tracks and a T Shirt. You can pre- order from

Who the fuck are you? You have to be kidding me with nonsensical, naive write up.
